The Creator of Heaven and Earth

The Creator of the Universe has you in the palm of His hands. There is no problem so big or a storm you are going through that is beyond his knowledge. He knows it all. The Bible says, “He made the heavens and the earth. Heaven is His throne, and the earth is his footstool” (Isaiah 66:1). There is nothing too complicated for Him!

Our problems seem so BIG sometimes that we often cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps you are struggling in your marriage, or you have children that have gone astray. Or maybe you are dealing with a health condition to which you have no answer. Can I tell you today to leave your problems at the feet of Jesus and cast all your cares on Him?

Job, a righteous man of God, lost his children, possessions, and health, yet He did not curse God and die just like his wife did. (Job 1). Instead, he looked to heaven and asked God for help during the darkest times in his life. Job had no answers to his situation, did not know what to do, and even his closest friends accused him of doing the wrong thing, but he took his case up with the Lord.

Like many of us, Job cried out to God with anger, confusion, frustration, and questions. He argued his case and tried to proclaim his righteousness and innocence, yet he could not see a way out of his situation. He didn’t understand why God allowed these things to happen to him.

God reminded Job that He was the Creator of the Universe who laid the earth’s foundations and placed the sun, stars, and moon in the sky. Who spoke the world into existence, determining its dimensions while stretching out the surveying line. God kept the sea inside its boundaries and barred its gates, limiting its shores. Then God says, “Job, do you want to continue arguing with me?

Job quickly realized how small he was in comparison to Almighty God. Job realized his arrogance had overtaken him, and He bowed his head in shame and realization, saying,” I am going to close my mouth. I think I have said too much already, and I have nothing more to say.” Yet God had mercy on Job and said, in essence, “I see what you have gone through, I understand your pain, and I have heard your cry.” God comforted Job and repaid him double for what he had lost.

In the same way, God hears your cry, sees your tears, and hears your prayers. At the right time, he will meet your needs if you do not give up. Keep your focus on Him, and He will get you through!
