Have you messed up? Do you feel like you have made a mess of your life or made mistakes that have led to consequences, possibly in your family, marriage, or relationships? If so, join the club! We have all made mistakes, whether we want to admit them at one point or another. However, there is good news! God forgives you, and the Bible says, “His mercies are new every morning because He is faithful.” (Isaiah 43:12). The Lord says in Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past for I am doing a new thing. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

God says, “can you see and understand it because I can do anything! Yet, this requires you to look through the eyes of faith rather than focusing on what you can only see in the present. God can take the damaged areas of your life and make them into something beautiful. He can take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it around for your good. “Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace, you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so, you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness, I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.” (Isaiah 61:7-9)

God wants to restore all that the enemy has stolen from your life. The Bible says, “the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you a life more abundantly. Whether he has attacked your relationships, faith, peace, joy, health, or finances, God wants to help renew and restore you to double, and this is what He did for Job. Job was a righteous man, a man that loved God, but suddenly in a flash, he lost everything he had. The enemy was behind his loss, hoping that He would curse and turn away from God. However, Job remained faithful, and God restored him and gave him back double for his loss. God wants to restore you as well. (Isaiah 61:7). The Bible says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Today you may be in a situation where you cannot go backward, but with God’s help, you can move forward. Don’t allow anything that has come against you to stop you. Take hold of God’s hands and move forward to receive all He has in store for you!
